Local Clubs and Workshops

Angelina runs a local writing club for ages 8-18 every other week.

At Narrative Nexus Writing Club, a predetermined prompt is assigned by the club leader and everyone in the group writes a short story inspired by that prompt. These prompts are inspiring and thought provoking, whether it be a piece of dialogue, a setting, a photo, or something more out of the box, such as “jumping out of your comfort zone” or “reverse” where the club members challenge themselves to make a full switcheroo, changing genre and writing style for a short story.

After everyone writes their stories, they send them to the leader and they are compiled into a single document to be read and critiqued by each member, and later discussed at the next meeting.

This club shows NO judgment and gives only positive constructive criticism!

Narrative Nexus Creative Writing Bootcamp is a pre-requisite to join Writing Club. Bootcamps are offered periodically throughout the year.
