Empowering Young Writers

Support Our Annual Fiction Writing Contest, and help us create safe, inspiring spaces for storytelling and speech.

Dear Potential Sponsor,

My name is Angel Rae, a local author, artist, and founder of ARA Creations and Beyond—a creative studio dedicated to healing-centered fiction, emotionally intelligent stories for children, and expressive storytelling in all its forms. Through our youth branch, Narrative Nexus, we empower young voices through writing contests, creative writing bootcamps, and community-based clubs that foster confidence, clarity, and connection.

Each year, we host The Narrative Nexus Annual Fiction Writing Contest for kids ages 8–18, judged by local authors. This contest offers young writers a chance to be seen, celebrated, and published. All contestants are featured in The Narrative Digest, and winners are published in our annual Echoes of Youth Anthology—a keepsake collection of emerging voices.

To make this contest a success, we’re seeking sponsors to help cover the costs of prizes, refreshments, and a welcoming venue for our Announcement Ceremony. Your support will help provide:

• Prizes: Gift cards, books, and creative supplies for our winners

• Refreshments: Snacks and drinks for the celebration

• Venue: A safe, accessible location to host the ceremony

We’re also in need of a free-of-charge location to host our seasonal bootcamps and weekly writing and speech clubs. These gatherings are more than workshops—they’re safe spaces for youth to explore their stories, build confidence, and find belonging.

In return for your generosity, we’re happy to share your materials, flyers, or coupons at our events and through our promotional channels, including social media, flyers, and raffles.

I began writing at age 12, and today I have the honor of helping young writers find their voice. Your sponsorship will directly support these kids—offering them recognition, resources, and a creative home in their community.
